Part B Unit 6 Superconductivity some extra points


Supercurrent in Josephson junction
If α1 and α2 are the phases of two superconductors in a Josephson effect experimental setup, supercurrent in the junction is given by,
Is = Ic sin (α2 - α1)
Here Ic represent the critical current which is the maximum current across the junction under zero voltage conditions.
